Happy Monday to everyone! If you celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend, I hope you had a wonderful holiday filled with food, friends and family. B and I had a great time visiting with family, catching up with old friends, and completely stuffing ourselves with fabulous food and drink. I didn’t take pictures of everything we did over the past couple days, but here’s some fun highlights.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since going to school with these beautiful ladies
Mason was excited to show B the latest trucks in his fleet.
We got to meet Louie, my parent’s new dancing Maltipoo puppy. Louie and Lucy were fast friends and are counting down the days until they get to hang out again! (I wonder how long it is in dog years…?)
My super talented sister hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year and had beautiful centerpieces on not one, but three tables for everyone.
B got to carve a ham and a turkey for the first time.
I made this fantastic carrots and parsnips dish. Oh! and of course I also made sweet potatoes. After many hours of consideration, I finally decided on The Pioneer Woman’s Soul Sweet Taters. Both recipes were definite winners.
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone that means the holiday season is officially up and running! Even though stores have had their decorations out since before Halloween, our decorations will be coming out this weekend and its time for Christmas Music! What a wonderful way to bring Music Monday back into the mix!
Here’s a fun one:
