We made it! And I’m back! Design Week is now in full swing and Saturday’s Ideabook Exhibition was absolutely fantastic. We could not have imagined it going any better. The Ideabooks looked great, the food was awesome, and so many people came out to support the design community in Columbus.
Here’s a few pics from Saturday’s event and the rest of the weekend:
The books are hanging from a retractable badge clip on a cable railing system. That way people could pull the book toward them and when they were finished it would snap back in place.
The books look really impressive all hung up. (this is about an hour before the exhibition started and we were getting ready to bring everything into the space.)
We had over 350 people come out to see the Ideabooks! There was a constant crowd around the Ideabooks the whole night. The exhibition was held at the OSU Urban Arts Space.
The Design Week Team! Don’t mind my awkward leaning; I felt like I had to squeeze into the frame. Obviously, I didn’t, and instead just made my head look 3 times the size of B’s.
The Mayor came to the event and shared his Ideabook with us!
Lucy was ready to go bright and early Sunday morning to return the U-Haul truck
The film screening was a success on Sunday afternoon.
I can’t believe what a whirlwind the past few weeks have been. September completely flew by and October isn’t slowing down. Here’s hoping I can keep up and get back to posting more regularly!
How were your weekends?
