happy monday + being social media savvy

Happy monday everyone! I spent the weekend in Toledo to hand off Lucy to my parents for the next couple weeks since Brandon and I are headed to the beach soon with his family (yay!) and needed someone to look after the pup while we’re away. While I was there I took the opportunity to do some sewing with my mom and came back Sunday afternoon with some fun new duds that hopefully I’ll be showcasing on here soon.

Now onto some obligatory housekeeping:

Social Media Updates

Twitter: For those of you that follow me on twitter,you may have noticed that I changed my handle to @StuffStephDoes. Fitting, right? I figure I should try to embed my “brand” into your heads as much as possible by having it show up in as many social media outlets as I can possibly handle. If you already follow me nothing has changed, I’ll just show up as a different name. If you don’t follow me, well, what are you waiting for??

Facebook: I’m really trying to up the ante on my blog facebooking, but my efforts are not being reflected in my piddly stats. Turns out, it’s really facebook’s fault but we can fix it! So, if you follow me on facebook and aren’t seeing the goods I’ve been posting here’s what you need to do:

1. Go to my facebook page 

2. Hover your mouse over the “liked” box until a little box pops up. (you might need to move the cursor over it a couple times until it finally shows up)

3.  Make sure “Show in News Feed” is checked.

Hopefully then Facebook will decide to show you my posts in your news feed! If you don’t already like my page on facebook, well, what are you waiting for??
