Happy Monday! Another late Monday post due to a super busy weekend ending with B and me collapsing on the couch watching Lost for the rest of the night. We spent the weekend in Toledo for Father’s day and to fetch our pup who enjoyed a 3-week stint with my parents since we were out of town the weekend before.
It’s that time of year to celebrate dad. Just like I am so fortunate to have a great mom that warranted a cool mother’s day card, I basically hit the jackpot when it comes to dads, too. And if there is one thing that my dad loves almost as much as his fabulous daughter, it would be boats. So this is not only a cool Father’s Day card, but it also folds into a great little sailboat! Happy Monday everyone! This post is coming a little later today because Brandon and I were out of town celebrating his cousin’s high school graduation and we were so exhausted when we got back yesterday that we spent most of the day lounging around watching Netflix. It was definitely a much needed break, and we both felt more rested today thanks to our lazy Sunday.

Yep, you read the title right. I made asparagus lime pie. Don’t ask me why.
Ok, go ahead and ask.
I did it because:
1) I had the ingredients…which maybe isn’t the best reason for putting them together. I also have granola bars and mustard, but I don’t think I’ll be mixing those two together any time soon.
2) the recipe just sounded unique, and there was no picture so I was dying to see what the heck an asparagus lime pie looked like.
3) who knows, maybe it would be good?
Ok, so this recipe wasn’t on my round up, but I found it in a Kraft Food + Family from 2007 or something ridiculous like that, (oh em gee, Steph, you still have magazines from 2007!??!) ( I know, right?) so the link and image wasn’t readily available. Lucky for you, I’m blogging about it!
