It’s Wednesday.
The work week is in full force, and well, sometimes we need a little pick-me-up to keep the inspiration flowing for the remainder of the week. I came across Multi-Media artist Aurora Robson’s work while perusing the Columbus College of Art and Design’s lecture series this coming school year. Not only is she presenting at the school in September, but she will also open a solo exhibition at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens that runs through April. I know I’ll definitely be checking that out!
The medium for these collages are ink and junk mail–yup, junk mail. I would love to see them up close to really understand the dimension of the work since these images almost look like vector graphics. Her figural style is also transposed into sculpture, painting, and installation work that you can see on her website.
