I was introduced to a new website a couple days ago. It is fabulous, and appropriately titled, fab.com.
Heard of it? No? Ohhh man, you’re in for a treat!
For those of you familiar with shopping sites like Rue La La or Gilt Groupe, its basically the same thing where different companies have sales on it for just a couple days, except on fab.com the products are all super cool, well designed products (as opposed to clothes). They sell everything from jewelry to furniture to books to lighting to art to hair styling tools and everything is just, well, fab. A lot of the sales are from etsy shops, which I love. There’s so much energy behind handcrafted work and entrepreneurial businesses right now, and I’m totally all for it. They also sell vintage items and have a pinterest-type board for inspiration. Not that we need another pinterest….but in case you needed another pinning outlet…
Before you scurry off and look at it, let me show you some fun things I’ve seen over there the past couple days and am restraining myself from buying.

How awesome are wood sunglasses?

there’s something really cool about a simple, single-colored watch.

(this is her etsy shop, this necklace isn’t there, you have to go fab.com for it!)

via Urban Chandy
This could be a fun project to try. Not much for wiring? Stop by Cassidy Brush’s etsy shop!

via CityFabric
CityFabric has totes, tees and prints of different U.S. cities. I’m putting this up here even though they don’t have Columbus…They need to get on that!

A colander turned light, um, cool!
Get the gist? Fab stuff at fab.com, you should check ’em out!
